We’ve been really comfortable here at Banfield Lodge , The welcome was warm with complimentary wine and flowers, and we felt it to be nice and private too.
Everything we needed was provided from kitchen utensils to the very thought full printout of high and low tides. We found the Historic Gower information both really useful and have been out hunting places of interest with the OS maps (also helpfully provided). Beds super comfortable too! A relaxing and lovely place to stay, as a gateway to the Gower. Thanks.

Jennifer and I had a lovely week at a lovely location. The dogs (Roly & Barney) enjoyed having the park on the doorstep and met many friends while out walking, every time I sat down they were begging at the door to be let out.

Really enjoyed our break despite some awful weather, however Rhossilli was transformed a day later with afternoon sunshine the dogs loving the magnificent beach.
We managed a tour of most of the Gower beaches remembered from childhood. So great to find a dog friendly household who welcomed our two dogs - much appreciated, cottage great and well equipped. Good food locally with your recommendations. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you both.

A fabulous week in the cottage- gorgeous accommodation , friendly horses, and a terrific guard dog in Fred!! Great place to explore Gower from , and a restfull place in itself for chilling out. Great place for dogs too- plenty of walks and fun to be had.

Banfield Lodge made an excellent base from which to explore the most beautiful surroundings . The walks were just amazing . It was so good to be able to bring the dog- she thought it so much better than kennels !!

A comfortable, warm and homely accommodation . We brought our girls (dogs) to escape the distress of bonfire weekend. Although fireworks could be heard in the distance the “girls” suffered very little distress, therefore we made a good choice coming to Banfield Lodge. Banfield is ideally located to explore the beauty of the Gower, we were very contented to enjoy the local walks where the girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves . The truly Welsh welcome – Croeso - of wine , tea, milk and flowers was much appreciated. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
